Variants

Local(PathBuf)

A binary on this machine’s disk — copied into the bundle tree and hashed like any other file.

Pinned(BundleHash)

A binary the store already holds, referenced by its BLAKE3 digest. Nothing is read from local disk and nothing is copied into the bundle tree; the manifest’s content map simply names this hash, and publish_bundle skips it because store.head already finds the blob (the same append-only dedupe every other file gets). This is the mechanism that makes a template-only re-release possible on a machine that has never built the binary at all.
