Parse the R833-F8 imperative node-selector off a workload’s annotations —
the single machine name the operator pinned the run to
(--where=node:us-west-003). Absent or blank ⇒ None (“no constraint”),
which is every workload built before this axis existed.
One node, not a list: the annotation exists to express “run it there”, and a comma-joined set would be a worse spelling of the mesh-tag selector that already handles “any of these”.
