ReadyOutcome

Enum ReadyOutcome

Source
pub enum ReadyOutcome {
    Ready(ProcStatus),
    Terminal(ProcStatus),
    TimedOut {
        last: Option<ProcStatus>,
    },
}
Expand description

Outcome of waiting for a process to report itself ready.

Variants§

§

Ready(ProcStatus)

The process reported ProcState::Running.

§

Terminal(ProcStatus)

The process reported a terminal state — it is not coming up. Failing here rather than burning the whole timeout is the practical difference between a five-second and a twenty-second edit loop.

§

TimedOut

The deadline passed. last is the most recent document read, or None when the endpoint never answered at all — a distinction worth keeping in the error message, since “never bound its socket” and “stuck in starting” are different bugs with different fixes.
