InspectedKeyCandidateBudget

Struct InspectedKeyCandidateBudget

Source
pub struct InspectedKeyCandidateBudget<'a> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Counts candidates actually inspected by one resolver invocation.

Parser cardinality preflights prevent expensive materialization, but do not replace this runtime accounting: embedded and indirect candidates both consume resolver work when inspected. Cumulative source-inspection work shared across one key resolution operation. Reuse this budget when resolving multiple caller-owned candidate records.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'a> InspectedKeyCandidateBudget<'a>

Source

pub fn new(policy: &VerificationPolicy) -> Self

Start shared accounting derived solely from the operation policy.

Source

pub fn new_with_utc_facts( policy: &VerificationPolicy, facts: LeapTable<'a>, ) -> Self

Start an operation with caller-supplied UTC history. The table is borrowed request evidence, not a policy rule or an implicit clock.

Source

pub fn utc_facts(&self) -> Option<&LeapTable<'a>>

UTC evidence captured for this operation. Absence does not supply an invented history, and rebinding policy cannot replace these facts.

Source

pub fn execution(&self) -> &Memory

Current certificate execution account, shared with ingestion by core operations. Custom resolvers must use this account for their certificate mechanism work; failed attempts spend work and retained allocations keep their original charge.

Source

pub fn charge(&mut self) -> Result<(), DsigError>

Reserve one direct-key inspection before copying or decoding it.
