Expand description

Errors from owned document parsing, identity validation, and mutation.

Variants§

§

Policy(PolicyViolation)

The immutable operation policy contains invalid resource limits.

§

DocumentTooLarge

The input exceeds the active XML document byte limit.

Fields

§maximum: usize

Maximum accepted byte length.

§actual: usize

Actual byte length.

§

DocumentTooDeep

The input exceeds the active XML element nesting limit.

Fields

§maximum: usize

Maximum accepted element nesting depth.

§actual: usize

First observed element nesting depth beyond the limit.

§

Parse(Error)

The XML parser rejected the document.

§

BackendParse

The selected parser backend rejected the document.

Fields

§backend: &'static str

Compile-time selected parser backend.

§message: String

Stable human-readable parser diagnostic.

§

ForeignIdentity

An identity belongs to another document.

§

StaleIdentity

An identity belongs to an earlier document generation.

Fields

§identity: u64

Generation captured by the identity.

§current: u64

Current document generation.

§

MissingNode

The node no longer exists in the current parsed tree.

§

TargetNotElement

A mutation target is not an element.

§

InvalidReplacement(String)

Replacement content does not satisfy the requested structural shape.

§

IdentityExhausted

Process-local document provenance space is exhausted.

§

ProjectedNodeLimit

A projected mutation exceeds the caller’s active node ceiling.

Fields

§maximum: usize

Maximum accepted parser node count.
