CertificatePathVerifier

Struct CertificatePathVerifier

Source
pub struct CertificatePathVerifier<'a, 'p> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Certificate-path signature checks through the selected provider, under the operation’s certificate-signature permissions and issuer key-strength policy. It verifies only keys of the supplied chain or anchor; any other key is a processing error, so a discovery edge cannot borrow this permission.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl<W: Work> Verify<W> for CertificatePathVerifier<'_, '_>

Source§

type Error = X509ChainError

The original policy, provider or resource failure of this implementation.
Source§

fn verify( &self, algorithm: &AlgorithmIdentifier<'_>, key: WorkingKey<'_>, signed: &[u8], signature: BitString<'_>, execution: &W, ) -> Result<Verified, Self::Error>

Whether the signature over signed is the one the key in key makes under algorithm. Read more
