#[non_exhaustive]pub enum Error {
InvalidOptions,
LimitExceeded,
InvalidPem,
UnexpectedPemLabel,
InvalidCertificate,
TrailingData,
InconsistentSignatureAlgorithm,
}Expand description
Typed local parsing failures, distinct from card status and transport errors.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
InvalidOptions
A zero parsing budget was supplied.
LimitExceeded
Encoded input or decoded DER exceeds the caller’s budget.
InvalidPem
PEM armor/base64 is invalid, or input contains extra text/blocks.
UnexpectedPemLabel
The PEM label is not CERTIFICATE.
InvalidCertificate
Input could not be decoded as an X.509 certificate.
TrailingData
Bytes follow the single DER certificate.
InconsistentSignatureAlgorithm
Legacy error retained for compatibility; parsing now preserves both identifiers.
