Fields

id: String

The GraphQL node id, which is what every mutation names.

number: i64

title: String

url: String

short_description: Option<String>

closed: bool

owner: String

Who it belongs to, as a login. A project is an owner’s, not a repository’s — which is why the board is its own place in the workbench rather than a section of a repository’s page.

fields: Vec<GitHubProjectField>

Every field the board defines. The single-select ones are its columns.

The field a board is grouped by: its Status, or the first single-select it has.

GitHub’s own board groups by Status when it exists, and a project that renamed it is still a board with columns. Returning None is honest: a project with no single-select field has no columns, and inventing one would put every item in a made-up bucket.
