Struct MidFunctionHook

Source
pub struct MidFunctionHook<A: Architecture> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

mid-function hook

hooks at an arbitrary location within a function. saves all registers, calls the detour with a context pointer, then restores registers and continues execution.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<A: Architecture> MidFunctionHook<A>

Source

pub fn new(address: usize, detour: MidHookFn) -> Self

create a new mid-function hook

§Arguments
  • address - the exact address to place the hook
  • detour - function pointer of type MidHookFn
Source

pub fn from_raw(address: usize, detour: usize) -> Self

create from raw address

Source

pub fn install(self) -> Result<HookGuard<A>>

install the mid-function hook

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl<A: Architecture> Hook for MidFunctionHook<A>

Source§

type Guard = HookGuard<A>

the guard type returned when the hook is installed
Source§

fn install(self) -> Result<Self::Guard>

install the hook
Source§

fn target(&self) -> usize

get the target address
Source§

fn detour(&self) -> usize

get the detour address
