A format specification [[fill] align] ["0"] [width] ["." precision] after the : of an interpolation (spec chapter 1, section 5.3a; chapter 7, section 4.4).

Fields

fill: Option<char>

The fill character, if one is written.

align: Option<Align>

The alignment, if one is written.

zero: bool

0: pad a number with zeros after its sign.

width: Option<u32>

The width.

precision: Option<u32>

The number of digits after the point of a Float.

span: Span

Where the specification is, after the :.
