pub struct MultiFileEdit {
pub files: Vec<FileEditEntry>,
pub thread_id: String,
}Expand description
Parameters for the MultiFileEdit tool: apply edits across several files
all-or-nothing at the COMPUTE stage.
Every file is validated and its new content computed in memory first; only if ALL succeed are any writes performed. So a SEARCH that fails to match in the last file leaves the first files untouched. The write stage is a sequence of atomic single-file renames and stops at the first I/O failure (already written files are not rolled back, which is reported clearly).
Fields§
§files: Vec<FileEditEntry>Two or more files to edit together. For a single file use FileWriteOrEdit.
thread_id: StringThe thread ID for this session
