Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Word

Bundle

Inside a bundle of short flags: the rest of the current word is more letters, or the attached value of the letter just read.

Stopped

Past a --: every word is a value.

Values

Every word is a value, but no -- was typed: an argument declared double_dash = "automatic" or stop_flags has taken a value (Argv::stop_flags).
