Struct Tag

Source
pub struct Tag<'h, V>
where V: Identities,
{ /* private fields */ }
Expand description

What acts on an epoch of a live lineage: an epoch id, with the lineage’s handle (DI-D-40). A write is tagged with one, and a seal names one, so neither can name a lineage that is not live. Borrows the handle, never the instance.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'h, V> Tag<'h, V>
where V: Identities,

Source

pub fn new( handle: &'h <V as Identities>::LineageHandle, id: <V as Identities>::EpochId, ) -> Tag<'h, V>

Epoch id of handle’s lineage.

Source

pub fn handle(&self) -> &'h <V as Identities>::LineageHandle

The lineage’s handle.

Source

pub fn id(&self) -> <V as Identities>::EpochId

The epoch id.

Source

pub fn epoch(&self) -> Epoch<V>

The epoch, by the lineage’s plain name.
