pub struct FibArcs { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Fibonacci Arcs (FibArcs).
Three arcs centred on the end of the most recent confirmed swing leg. Time is normalised by the leg’s bar-width so the construction is chart-scale-free: at the leg’s end bar each arc sits exactly on its retracement level, and as time elapses the arc curves back toward the swing-end price, reaching it one leg width later.
u = (cur - end_bar) / (end_bar - start_bar)
arc(r) = end + (start - end) * r * sqrt(max(0, 1 - u^2))Parameter-free; construction is infallible. Returns None until the first
leg is complete.
See crates/wickra-core/src/indicators/fib_arcs.rs.
Implementations§
Trait Implementations§
Source§impl Indicator for FibArcs
impl Indicator for FibArcs
Source§type Input = Candle
type Input = Candle
Type of one input data point (typically
f64 for a price, or Candle / Tick).Source§type Output = FibArcsOutput
type Output = FibArcsOutput
Type of one output value.
Source§fn update(&mut self, candle: Candle) -> Option<FibArcsOutput>
fn update(&mut self, candle: Candle) -> Option<FibArcsOutput>
Feed one new data point into the indicator and return the freshly computed
output, or
None if the indicator is still warming up.Source§fn reset(&mut self)
fn reset(&mut self)
Reset all internal state, leaving the indicator equivalent to a freshly
constructed instance with the same parameters.
Source§fn warmup_period(&self) -> usize
fn warmup_period(&self) -> usize
Number of inputs required before the first non-
None output can be produced.Auto Trait Implementations§
