StandardMaterialConversion

Struct StandardMaterialConversion

Source
pub struct StandardMaterialConversion { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Outcome of rebuilding a StandardMaterial from a DataDrivenMaterial

Not every data-driven material has a standard equivalent: some were authored directly against the shader-graph vocabulary, and others are the converted form of a DisplacementMaterial or ReflectionMaterial. blocker says which.

Conversion is lossy even when it succeeds, because the forward direction is: variant fragments collapse onto one layer slot, several fragments are derived from the model rather than the material, and per-field animation links are not carried in the blob. lossy lists what was dropped for this material.

Implementations§

Source§

impl StandardMaterialConversion

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

§Panics

Panics if the native allocation fails.

Source

pub fn converted(&self) -> bool

Whether material was produced

Source

pub fn set_converted(&mut self, value: bool)

Source

pub fn blocker(&self) -> String

Why not, when converted is false

Source

pub fn set_blocker(&mut self, value: &str)

Source

pub fn material(&self) -> Ref<'_, StandardMaterial>

Only meaningful when converted Borrows the field in place — no copy, no allocation.

Source

pub fn material_mut(&mut self) -> RefMut<'_, StandardMaterial>
