UseId

Struct UseId

Source
pub struct UseId<T, F> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A wrapper that provides identity to a value through a function.

This allows attaching identity behavior to any type by providing a function to extract an ID from the wrapped value.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<T, F> UseId<T, F>

Source

pub const fn new(value: T, f: F) -> Self

Creates a new UseId instance wrapping the given value and function.

Source

pub fn into_inner(self) -> T

Consumes the wrapper and returns the inner value.

Source§

type Target = T

The resulting type after dereferencing.
Source§

fn deref(&self) -> &Self::Target

where F: Fn(&T) -> Id, Id: Ord + Hash + Clone,

Source§

fn id(&self) -> Self::Id

Applies the stored function to the wrapped value to generate an ID.

Source§

type Id = Id

The type of ID to use, which must implement Hash and Ord traits.
