}Expand description
Why the walk over a segment stopped.
Variants§
Marker
A 16-byte end-of-log marker follows the last frame.
ZeroHeader
An all-zero header follows the last frame (stores written before the marker).
Exhausted
Fewer than 16 bytes remain after the last frame.
TornTail
A frame fails its checks and nothing committed follows it: an append the crash interrupted. The engine truncates the log there on open (final segment only).
Corrupt
A frame fails its checks and committed data follows it (or it sits in a segment that was complete): damage inside committed data. The engine refuses to open.
