ModelCapabilities

Struct ModelCapabilities

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct ModelCapabilities { pub multilingual: bool, pub word_timestamps: bool, pub streaming: bool, pub languages: Vec<String>, }
Expand description

Reported capabilities of a model.

Engines that do not know their own capabilities should leave every field at its conservative default (see ModelCapabilities::UNKNOWN).

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§multilingual: bool

Whether the model supports multilingual ASR (as opposed to English-only).

§word_timestamps: bool

Whether the model can emit word-level timestamps.

§streaming: bool

Whether the model supports streaming (incremental) inference.

§languages: Vec<String>

ISO 639-1 language codes the model was trained on. Empty means “unknown”.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ModelCapabilities

Source

pub const UNKNOWN: Self

Sentinel value meaning “capabilities unknown / not advertised”.

Returned by the default AsrEngine::capabilities so implementors only override what they actually know.

Source

pub const fn new( multilingual: bool, word_timestamps: bool, streaming: bool, languages: Vec<String>, ) -> Self

Construct a ModelCapabilities from all four fields.

ModelCapabilities is #[non_exhaustive], so downstream crates cannot use a struct expression. This constructor is the canonical way to build one with known values.
