Canonical adapter contract for voxora engine crates (ASR-specific).
Every voxora-<engine> crate (voxora-whisper, voxora-qwen3asr,
future voxora-parakeet, voxora-voxtral, …) builds on top of this
crate so consumers see a uniform shape.
Owns nothing engine-specific; only the dispatch and metadata glue that is identical across engines.
ASR-specific: the adapter wraps an voxora_traits::AsrEngine.
There is no generic Model trait at this layer.
The next planned engine family (parakeet, voxtral, …) lands as a
new variant on EngineFamily in 0.2.0; consumers that
exhaustively match today must add a wildcard arm.

Modules§
- adapter
EngineAdapter— the canonical contract every voxora engine crate implements.- backend
- Hardware backend descriptor shared across engine adapters.
- family
- Engine family — the canonical spelling used in config files and CLI flags.
- info
- Metadata about a loaded engine.
- testing
- Test helpers — fake adapters that implement the
EngineAdaptercontract for downstream tests.
Structs§
- Model
Capabilities - Reported capabilities of a model.
- Streaming
Options - Per-chunk options for
StreamingSession::transcribe_chunk. - Streaming
Result - Output of a single
StreamingSession::transcribe_chunkcall.
Traits§

- Streaming
Session - A single streaming session — typed via dyn-dispatch to avoid leaking engine-specific state types.
