ListContainsElementReduce

Trait ListContainsElementReduce

Source
pub trait ListContainsElementReduce: VTable {
    // Required method
    fn list_contains(
        list: &ArrayRef,
        element: ArrayView<'_, Self>,
        options: &ListContainsOptions,
    ) -> VortexResult<Option<ArrayRef>>;
}
Expand description

Check list-contains without reading buffers (metadata-only).

This trait dispatches on the element (needle) child at index 1 of the ListContains expression. Self is the concrete element encoding, while the list (haystack) is passed as an opaque &ArrayRef.

Return None if the operation cannot be resolved from metadata alone.

Required Methods§

Source

fn list_contains( list: &ArrayRef, element: ArrayView<'_, Self>, options: &ListContainsOptions, ) -> VortexResult<Option<ArrayRef>>

Dyn Compatibility§

This trait is not dyn compatible.

In older versions of Rust, dyn compatibility was called "object safety".

Implementors§

impl ListContainsElementReduce for Chunked

Pushes list_contains of a prepared set into each chunk of the needles.

Each chunk gets a slice of the prepared set, which shares the one set, so that the set is built once for every chunk.
