pub enum CallArg {
Value(LeafId),
Ref,
Const,
}Expand description
One actual argument of a Transition::SubroutineCall (16.11).
Variants§
Value(LeafId)
A by-value (input) argument: the leaf’s value, sampled at the end
point. Every actual that mentions a local variable is by value
(16.11: “a local variable cannot be passed by reference”).
Ref
A ref/const ref argument: the actual is an lvalue of the enclosing
scope, bound to the formal at call time with no copy. The engine
resolves the lvalue from the call table.
Const
A by-value argument that depends on nothing sampled and so has no leaf:
a string literal or a constant of a type a leaf cannot carry (a real, a
string). The kernel that runs the call lowers the actual itself; the
event carries no value for it (None).
