pub struct WorkItem {
pub activation: PendingActivation,
pub key: CanonicalEventKey,
}Expand description
Review fix: activation.id (sched::PendingActivation::id) is the defined
correlation between a WorkItem handed out by partition() and the
ActivationId that on_read/on_write/ResolvedBatch::completed expect
— those hooks previously had no way to name the activation a WorkItem
came from. key.reconv_iter (from CanonicalEventKey) must equal
activation.reconv_iter (from PendingActivation) for the WorkItem that
produced it; both are threaded through independently because
PendingActivation is scheduler-owned ready-set data and
CanonicalEventKey is the WOCB-verdict ordering key, but they describe the
same delta-loop pass.
