Expand description

What a concurrent assertion statement is (16.14.1-16.14.5).

Variants§

§

Assert

assert property: failures and successes run the action block.

§

Assume

assume property: checked as assert in simulation (16.14.2).

§

CoverProperty

cover property: counts and runs the pass statement per successful attempt (16.14.3).

§

CoverSequence

cover sequence: counts and runs the pass statement per match.

§

Restrict

restrict property: never checked in simulation (16.14.5).

§

Expect

The expect statement (16.17): a procedural blocking statement that starts one evaluation thread on the clocking event strictly after its own step and reports its single outcome. Judged as an assert is.
