Struct SessionError

Source
pub struct SessionError {
    pub message: String,
    pub kind: SessionErrorKind,
    pub stdout: Option<String>,
    pub parts: Vec<(Verbosity, String)>,
    pub annotation: Option<String>,
    pub preface: Box<[String]>,
}

Fields§

§message: String§kind: SessionErrorKind§stdout: Option<String>

A line Composer writes on STDOUT next to the error ($io->write after $io->writeError), as UpdateCommand does for a temporary constraint that misses the root’s.

§parts: Vec<(Verbosity, String)>

The message as Composer writes it, piece by piece with each piece’s level (IOInterface::QUIET for the headline of an unsolvable set and the --no-dev warning, the default level for the problems). Empty when the whole message has one level, the caller’s.

§annotation: Option<String>

What Composer hands to GithubActionError::emit for this error, when it is not the message itself: the headline and the problems of an unsolvable set ($err."\n".$prettyProblem), without the --no-dev warning or the dev extraction’s two hint lines.

§preface: Box<[String]>

Lines Composer has written before it throws, which the error must not lose: the warnings a degraded repository held while the list filter of install’s verification ran (ComposerRepository writes them as it loads, before the exception of another fetch).

Source§

impl From<RepoError> for SessionError

A repository error keeps its nature: Composer rewrites a TransportException’s code to Installer::ERROR_TRANSPORT_EXCEPTION (100) before Symfony turns it into an exit code, so a failure to FETCH something does not exit like a failure to understand it.
