Options of an update (Installer::setUpdateAllowList, setUpdateAllowTransitiveDependencies).

Fields

allow_list: Vec<String>

composer update a/b c/*: patterns, lowercased and deduplicated.

transitive: Option<UpdateMode>

no_blocking: bool

--no-blocking / --no-security-blocking.

root_patch: Option<RootPatch>

Dry run of require/remove: the root package is patched in memory, composer.json is not touched.

merged: Option<Merged>

composer-merge-plugin active: the root as its INIT / PRE_UPDATE_CMD merges left it (the merged manifest, the included files’ own requirements for the stability flags).

temporary_requirements: Vec<(String, String)>

update --with a/b:^1 (and the update a/b:^1 shorthand), as written: name → constraint text, in command order. Parsed and checked against the root requirements by prepare_update.
