OrderError

Enum OrderError

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum OrderError<E> { Term(NormalizeError), NotScalar, Source(SourceError), Unsupported { scheme: &'static str, domain: &'static str, }, Backend(E), }
Expand description

Why a space produced no term. Never includes plaintext.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Term(NormalizeError)

The scalar has no order term as the space’s target: no order for its kind, another kind than the target, outside the target, not valid for its logical type, or text with a code point unassigned in Unicode 16.

§

NotScalar

The value is a sequence, a map or a passthrough, which has no single term. Walk it with order_terms.

§

Source(SourceError)

The value could not be read: its source failed before any term was made.

§

Unsupported

The scheme does not take terms of this target, chosen while the program ran: a fixed-width scheme given text, or a width above its limit. A target named when the program is compiled is checked then, through Supports, and never reaches this.

Fields

§scheme: &'static str

The scheme’s NAME.

§domain: &'static str

The target’s domain label.

§

Backend(E)

The scheme’s own failure.
