Expand description

Why a value could not be written as a frame.

Variants§

§

TooDeep

Nested deeper than MAX_DEPTH.

§

TooLong

Text, bytes, a key or a count longer than a u32.

§

Invalid

A value that is not valid for its logical type.

§

CountMismatch

A container’s declared length did not match the children written.

§

DuplicateKey

A map wrote the same key twice.

§

Unwritten

A child sink was dropped without a value written into it, which would leave the container’s count ahead of its children.

§

Unfinished

A container was never ended, so its count was never written and the bytes are not a frame.

§

Source(SourceError)

The source stopped the walk.

fn description(&self) -> &str

👎Deprecated since 1.42.0:

use the Display impl or to_string()

1.0.0 · Source§

fn cause(&self) -> Option<&dyn Error>

👎Deprecated since 1.33.0:

replaced by Error::source, which can support downcasting

Source§

fn source(error: SourceError) -> Self

Wrap a failure that came from the source, not the sink.
