Expand description

A pivot table definition: a summary of source, grouped by row_fields nested within col_fields, restricted by filter_fields, and aggregated per value_fields. This is a workbook-level object (like Chart) rather than sheet-scoped like ExcelTable, since its source and destination ranges may live on different sheets.

Fields§

§id: u64

Workbook-unique identifier, stable across renames.

§name: String

Display name, unique workbook-wide.

§source: PivotSource

Where the records come from.

§dest_sheet_id: u64

Sheet the grid is written to, which need not be the source’s sheet.

§dest_row: usize

Top-left row of the output grid, 0-based.

§dest_col: usize

Top-left column of the output grid, 0-based.

§row_fields: Vec<PivotField>

Fields grouped down the left edge, outermost first.

§col_fields: Vec<PivotField>

Fields grouped across the top, outermost first.

§value_fields: Vec<PivotValueField>

Fields aggregated into the body. At least one is required for compute_pivot to succeed.

§filter_fields: Vec<PivotFilterField>

Fields restricting which source records take part.

§grand_totals_row: bool

Whether a grand-total row is appended below the body.

§grand_totals_col: bool

Whether a grand-total column is appended to the right of the body.

§last_output_end_row: Option<usize>

Bottom-right corner of the last rendered output grid, so a refresh that produces a smaller grid can clear the now-stale cells.

§last_output_end_col: Option<usize>

Column half of that corner; see PivotTable::last_output_end_row.
