pub struct SubSelectionRef {
pub version: u64,
/* private fields */
}Expand description
A renderer-owned snapshot of a SubSelection taken at frame submission time.
Bundles the selection items with the CPU-side mesh and point cloud data the renderer needs to build highlight geometry. The renderer does not hold a reference to any app-owned data between frames.
§Usage
ⓘ
fd.interaction.sub_selection = Some(SubSelectionRef::new(
&self.sub_selection,
mesh_lookup,
model_matrices,
point_positions,
));Fields§
§version: u64Version counter copied from the source SubSelection::version().
The renderer uses this to skip GPU buffer rebuilds when the selection has not changed since the previous frame.
Implementations§
Source§impl SubSelectionRef
impl SubSelectionRef
Sourcepub fn new(
sub_selection: &SubSelection,
mesh_lookup: HashMap<u64, (Vec<[f32; 3]>, Vec<u32>)>,
model_matrices: HashMap<u64, Mat4>,
point_positions: HashMap<u64, Vec<[f32; 3]>>,
) -> Self
pub fn new( sub_selection: &SubSelection, mesh_lookup: HashMap<u64, (Vec<[f32; 3]>, Vec<u32>)>, model_matrices: HashMap<u64, Mat4>, point_positions: HashMap<u64, Vec<[f32; 3]>>, ) -> Self
Create a snapshot from a live SubSelection.
mesh_lookup: CPU positions + indices per node id (same type as themesh_lookupargument to the CPU pick functions).model_matrices: world transform per node id.point_positions: point cloud positions per node id (forSubObjectRef::Pointentries).
Sourcepub fn with_voxels(self, lookup: HashMap<u64, VolumeSelectionInfo>) -> Self
pub fn with_voxels(self, lookup: HashMap<u64, VolumeSelectionInfo>) -> Self
Attach volume geometry info for SubObjectRef::Voxel highlight rendering.
lookup maps each volume’s node id to its VolumeSelectionInfo. Without
this, selected voxels are silently skipped during highlight geometry build.
