#[non_exhaustive]pub enum VfOffset {
At(u64),
Cur,
End,
}Expand description
The offset of a read or write operation.
Unlike the C API’s raw u64 sentinels (u64::MAX / u64::MAX - 1), a
distinct type means an absolute offset can never collide with the special
“current position” / “end of file” meanings.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
At(u64)
An absolute file offset.
Cur
The current read/write position of an open descriptor.
End
The end of the file.
