Configuration for Product Quantization.

Fields

num_subspaces: usize

Number of subspaces (M). The vector is split into M parts. Typical values: 8, 16, 32. Higher values = better recall but more memory.

num_centroids: usize

Number of centroids per subspace (K = 2^bits_per_subspace). Typically 256 (8 bits) for good balance of memory and recall.

kmeans_config: KMeansConfig

K-means configuration for training codebooks.
