Where an outgoing file’s bytes come from.

Bytes(Arc<Vec<u8>>)

In memory: images the caller has already processed, pasted bytes.

§

Path(PathBuf)

On disk, read a chunk at a time: a file of any size costs one chunk of memory. Its preview metadata is the caller’s to give; nothing here decodes it.
