VariantCaps selects an OpenType capitalization variant.

If a font lacks the requested feature, text remains unchanged; Valo does not synthesize capital forms.

Variants§

Normal

Normal leaves capitalization features disabled.

§

SmallCaps

SmallCaps renders lowercase letters as small capitals.

§

AllSmallCaps

AllSmallCaps renders both lowercase and uppercase letters as small capitals.

§

PetiteCaps

PetiteCaps renders lowercase letters as petite capitals.

§

AllPetiteCaps

AllPetiteCaps renders both lowercase and uppercase letters as petite capitals.

§

Unicase

Unicase uses a mixture of uppercase and lowercase-sized capitals.

§

TitlingCaps

TitlingCaps uses capitals designed for display text.
