Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Primary

Always read from the primary.

PreferReplica

Prefer replicas, falling back to the primary if none are available.

AZAffinity(String)

Read from a replica in the given availability zone when possible.

AZAffinityReplicasAndPrimary(String)

Read from a replica in the given AZ, else the primary in that AZ, else any.

AZAffinityAllNodes(String)

Spread reads across all nodes (primaries and replicas) in the given AZ, falling back to all nodes if none in the AZ are available.

Spread reads across all nodes.
