Typed edges. The discriminants are burned into the on-disk format; new kinds are additive (the enum is non-exhaustive and unknown values decode to EdgeType::Unknown rather than failing the file).

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
