Errors returned by numerical-calculus helpers.

Variants§

§

NonFinitePoint

A sample point or evaluation point must be finite.

Fields

§name: &'static str

The name of the point that rejected the value.

§value: f64

The invalid value.

§

NonFiniteBound

An integration bound must be finite.

Fields

§bound: &'static str

The bound name that rejected the value.

§value: f64

The invalid value.

§

NonFiniteStep(f64)

A finite-difference or limit step must be finite.

§

NonPositiveStep(f64)

A finite-difference or limit step must be positive.

§

NonFiniteTolerance(f64)

A limit tolerance must be finite.

§

NegativeTolerance(f64)

A limit tolerance must not be negative.

§

ZeroSubintervals

The number of subintervals must be positive.

§

OddSubintervalCount(usize)

Simpson integration requires an even number of subintervals.

§

NonFiniteEvaluation

Function evaluation produced NaN or infinity.

Fields

§input: f64

The sample point that produced the invalid value.

§value: f64

The invalid evaluation result.

§

LimitMismatch

The left and right limit samples disagreed by more than tolerance.

Fields

§left: f64

The left-hand sample.

§right: f64

The right-hand sample.

§tolerance: f64

The accepted absolute tolerance.
