KeyValueDiskANNSource

Struct KeyValueDiskANNSource

Source
pub struct KeyValueDiskANNSource { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A physical generation pinned to an existing MVCC lease. Opening it reads only fixed metadata; pages and record batches remain lazy.

Implementations§

Source§

impl KeyValueDiskANNSource

Source

pub fn select( scope: &DiskANNIndexScope, dimensions: u32, parameters: DiskANNIndexParams, read: &dyn KeyValueRead, original: &StorageReadControl, control: &StorageReadControl, ) -> StorageBackendResult<Option<Arc<Self>>>

Provider boundary: select the head, configuration and actual physical source on one retained catalog/canonical view. A committed head retains that same view; a private head requires the source attached by its original publication. Both original and invoking controls remain binding. This reads fixed metadata only, leaving graph/PQ/origin batches lazy.

Source§

impl KeyValueDiskANNSource

Source

pub fn origin_reader( &self, maximum: usize, control: &StorageReadControl, ) -> StorageBackendResult<DiskANNOriginReader>

Retain and fully validate this exact generation’s origin stream without reopening a newer provider view or dropping its build lease.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl DiskANNPageSource for KeyValueDiskANNSource

Source§

fn generation(&self) -> DiskANNGeneration

Source§

fn capabilities(&self) -> DiskANNReadCapabilities

Source§

fn read_record( &self, key: DiskANNRecordKey, max_bytes: usize, control: &StorageReadControl, visit: &mut DiskANNRecordVisitor<'_>, ) -> StorageBackendResult<()>

Visit exactly one record. Check the byte limit before materializing provider-owned bytes; absence is an error.
Source§

fn read_graph_pages( &self, pages: &[u64], control: &StorageReadControl, visit: &mut DiskANNPageVisitor<'_>, ) -> StorageBackendResult<()>

Visit every requested unique page once, in any completion order. Missing, extra and repeated completions are errors.
