Expand description

One LC-MS feature from a single run: a deisotoped, charge-resolved precursor mass at an apex RT, that we try to assign a peptide to.

Fields§

§mass: f64

Monoisotopic neutral mass (Da).

§mz: f64

Monoisotopic m/z.

§charge: u8§rt: f64

Apex retention time (minutes).

§im: Option<f64>

Ion mobility (1/K0); None when the data has no IM dimension.

§combined_score: f64

Feature-quality score (isotope x coelution), in [0, 1]. Defaults to 1.0 when the input has no combined_score column.

§n_contributing_runs: u32

Number of original runs contributing to a consensus feature; always 1 for single-run input. Does not count MBR-filled intensity cells.

§n_isotopes: Option<f64>

Per-feature shape descriptors: number of isotopic peaks and number of scans the feature spans (biosaur2 nIsotopes/nScans). None if absent.

§n_scans: Option<f64>§isoerror: Option<f64>

biosaur2 isotope-pattern fit error (deviation of the observed isotope envelope from theory) and RT peak width (minutes). Real peptides fit theory tightly; random mass coincidences (and shuffled decoys) do not.

§isoerror2: Option<f64>§rt_width: Option<f64>§cosine_score: Option<f64>

Per-feature PFM-quality columns. These are the target/decoy discriminators the PFM ML rescorer relies on (the same signal ms1searchpy’s LightGBM PFM filter uses to drop the random-match rate). None if the column is absent.

§isotope_score: Option<f64>§ppm_error: Option<f64>§neutron_offset: Option<f64>§intensities: Vec<f64>

One apex intensity for single-run input, or per-run integrated LFQ intensities for matrix input. The estimators are not interchangeable.
