Why a source did not take an item.

Variants§

§

Full(SignalItem)

The source holds as many blocks as it may; run the pipeline and read its outputs, then push the item again. If the samples cannot wait, push a gap for them instead.

§

Discontinuity

The item does not follow the previous one; lost samples must be announced as a gap.

Fields

§expected: Tick

The tick the source expects next.

§found: Tick

The tick the item starts at.

§

Channels

The block has another channel count than the source.

Fields

§expected: u8

The source’s channels.

§found: u8

The block’s channels.

§

Ended

The source has ended.

§

Stalled

The source is full, the last run moved nothing and no exposed output has anything to read: the pipeline can make no progress, however it is driven. A node that waits on one input while another holds the source’s queue does this; see design.md §4.

Fields

§waiting: Vec<(String, Wait)>

What each unfinished node waited for when the last run ended.

§

UnknownSource(usize)

No such source.
