Crate ui_test

A crate to run the Rust compiler (or other binaries) and test their command line output.

• github_actions
  An interface to github actions workflow commands.
• status_emitter
  Variaous schemes for reporting messages during testing or after testing is done.

Structs

• CommandBuilder
  A command, its args and its environment. Used for the main command, the dependency builder and the cfg-reader.
• Config
  Central datastructure containing all information to run the tests.

Enums

• Error
  All the ways in which a test can fail.
• Match
  A filter’s match rule.
• Mode
  Decides what is expected of each test’s exit status.
• OutputConflictHandling
  The different options for what to do when stdout/stderr files differ from the actual output.
• TestResult
  The possible results a single test can have.

Functions

• default_file_filter
  The filter used by run_tests to only run on .rs files.
• default_per_file_config
  The default per-file config used by run_tests.
• run_tests
  Run all tests as described in the config argument.
• run_tests_generic
  A version of run_tests that allows more fine-grained control over running tests.
• test_command
  Create a command for running a single file, with the settings from the config argument. Ignores various settings from Config that relate to finding test files.
