Expand description

One forecast of a smoother: step periods after the last observation.

Fields§

§step: usize

Steps ahead, from 1.

§mean: f64

The point forecast.

§lower: Option<f64>

Lower end of the prediction interval; None when the smoother has no closed-form interval (multiplicative seasonality) or no one-step errors to estimate σ from.

§upper: Option<f64>

Upper end of the prediction interval.

§cumulative_mean: f64

The point forecast of the total over steps 1..=step.

§cumulative_lower: Option<f64>

Lower end of the total’s prediction interval (None as for lower).

§cumulative_upper: Option<f64>

Upper end of the total’s prediction interval.
