Pairs

One field per value: ?embed=a&embed=b. A query parameter’s style: form with explode: true, which is what OpenAPI defaults a query parameter to.

Commas

One field, values separated by commas: ?embed=a,b, and a,b in a path segment or a header. A query parameter’s style: form with explode: false, and style: simple everywhere else.
