SecureConnectOptions

Struct SecureConnectOptions

Source
pub struct SecureConnectOptions {
    pub http_port: u16,
    pub tls_mode: TlsMode,
    pub server_version: Option<Version>,
}
Expand description

Connection options for the typed TLS transport surface.

Fields§

§http_port: u16

Port of the TypeDB HTTP API used for the connect-time version probe.

§tls_mode: TlsMode

TLS policy shared by the HTTP probe and every gRPC driver attempt.

§server_version: Option<Version>

Exact server version supplied by the caller.

When set, the HTTP probe is skipped, but tls_mode still applies to the selected gRPC driver.

Implementations§

Source§

impl SecureConnectOptions

Source

pub fn validate_transport(&self) -> SecureResult<()>

Validate and lower this transport policy without constructing a host.

This runs the exact shared custom-root and compiled-driver-band validation used by every secure connect/lifecycle entry point, then discards the provider options. It performs no HTTP request, gRPC host construction, credential use, or database operation, so orchestration layers can fail malformed trust material before resolving secrets.
