When a value was written: the timestamp of the writing block.

This is the unit of the database’s valid_from, so the cache orders writes the way the database versions them. Block timestamps are unique per chain: the extractor adds a microsecond to a block that shares its second with the previous block. A block header supplies the timestamp; a snapshot row takes it from its valid_from.
