Ed25519PublicKey

Struct Ed25519PublicKey

Source
pub struct Ed25519PublicKey { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Wrapper for ed25519 public keys.

Stores the 32-byte public key for ed25519 operations. Used for Solana and other ed25519-based chains.

§Example

use txgate_crypto::keypair::{KeyPair, Ed25519KeyPair};

let keypair = Ed25519KeyPair::generate();
let pubkey = keypair.public_key();

// Get raw bytes (32 bytes)
assert_eq!(pubkey.as_bytes().len(), 32);

// Get Solana address (base58 encoded)
let address = pubkey.solana_address();
assert!(!address.is_empty());

Implementations§

Source§

impl Ed25519PublicKey

Source

pub const fn from_bytes(bytes: [u8; 32]) -> Self

Create a new public key from raw bytes.

Source

pub const fn as_bytes(&self) -> &[u8; 32]

Get the raw public key bytes (32 bytes).

Source

pub fn solana_address(&self) -> String

Derive the Solana address from this public key.

The Solana address is simply the base58-encoded 32-byte public key.

§Example
use txgate_crypto::keypair::{KeyPair, Ed25519KeyPair};

let keypair = Ed25519KeyPair::generate();
let address = keypair.public_key().solana_address();
// Solana addresses are base58 encoded, typically 32-44 characters
assert!(address.len() >= 32 && address.len() <= 44);
