Message reference struct.

Fields

channel_id: Option<Id<ChannelMarker>>

Originating message’s channel ID.

Note: optional when creating a reply, but always present when receiving an event or response containing this model.

guild_id: Option<Id<GuildMarker>>

Originating message’s guild ID.

message_id: Option<Id<MessageMarker>>

Originating message’s ID.

fail_if_not_exists: Option<bool>

Whether to error if the referenced message doesn’t exist instead of sending a normal message.

Defaults to true.
