The optional suite.toml (or suite.json) beside a directory of items.

It exists so a corpus whose seeded states are all written by the same projector says so once, instead of repeating the table in every file — where one forgotten line is a silently unpaired item.

The blanket applies to each item that actually has the part; an item with no seeded cases is simply unaffected, rather than failing to load. An item’s own declaration wins over the directory’s, part by part, so one item can say setup = "recorded" inside a directory that derives everything else.
