ClientServer

Struct ClientServer

Source
pub struct ClientServer { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Multi-host fixture with N servers plus one client. All host futures run on a single LocalSet driven by a single paused tokio runtime.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ClientServer

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Source

pub fn with_config(cfg: KernelConfig) -> Self

Construct with a custom KernelConfig applied to every host added later. Use for tests that need to tweak MTU, buffer caps, retx thresholds, etc.

Source

pub fn server<A, F>(self, addrs: A, fut: F) -> Self
where A: ToIpAddrs, F: Future<Output = ()> + 'static,

Register a server. addrs accepts hostnames or literal IPs; loopback is implicit. fut runs inside that host’s scope — every sys() call from its socket operations sees this host as current.

Source

pub fn run<A, T, F>(self, addrs: A, fut: F) -> T
where A: ToIpAddrs, F: Future<Output = T> + 'static, T: 'static,

Run the fixture with fut as the client. Every server is driven in parallel; the fixture returns fut’s output as soon as it resolves.
