Who the host believes performed a write.

plugin_id is stamped by the host from the mounted plugin’s validated descriptor and is therefore trustworthy. Every other field is copied verbatim from the writer and is advisory only — useful for correlating related operations, never an authorization or authenticity signal.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

plugin_id: Option<String>

Mounted plugin namespace, when the write came through a plugin.

source: Option<String>

Caller-selected source label.

correlation_id: Option<String>

Caller-supplied identifier linking related operations.

note: Option<String>

Caller-supplied human-readable reason.
