Enum table::Value [−][src]
pub enum Value { Null, Boolean(bool), Integer(i64), Number(f64), Text(String), List(Vec<Value>), Table(Table), }
The types of values that can be stored by tables.
Because most file formats don't care about integer size or floating point precision, those details have aslo been omitted in implementation here.
Examples
TODO
Variants
Null
The lack of a meaningful value; always gets parsed as None
.
Boolean(bool)
A boolean primitive, true or false.
Can be parsed using FromValue
and FromValueMut
with the following
types:
bool
- Direct copyString
- Formatted withDisplay
Integer(i64)
A signed 64-bit integer type.
Can be parsed using FromValue
and FromValueMut
with the following
types:
i64
- Direct copy- Other integer types - Casted (will fail if out of range).
f64
,f32
- Castedbool
- Only false when zero.String
- Formatted withDisplay
.
Number(f64)
A floating-point numeric type with 64-bit precision.
Can be parsed using FromValue
and FromValueMut
with the following
types:
f64
- Direct copyf32
- Casted, with truncated precison.String
- Formatted withDisplay
.
Text(String)
A string of text.
Can be parsed using FromValue
and FromValueMut
with the following
types:
&String
,&mut String
- Direct referenceString
- Cloned- Integers, floating point, boolean - will attempt to parse with
FromStr
List(Vec<Value>)
An ordered list of values that may or may not be the same type.
Can be parsed using FromValue
and FromValueMut
with the following
types:
&Vec<Value>
,&mut Vec<Value>
- Direct reference
Table(Table)
A nested table of named values.
Can be parsed using FromValue
and FromValueMut
with the following
types:
&Table
,&mut Table
- Direct reference
